In-Person Wellness Assessment

Personalized, face-to-face care designed to uncover the root causes behind your symptoms and create a clear plan to restore balance, energy, and long-term health.

A deeper approach to your health

If you’ve been told your labs are “normal” but you still feel exhausted, foggy, or out of balance, you’re not imagining it.

In-person wellness checks give us the time and space to look at the full picture of your health. We review your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and lab data through a functional medicine lens to uncover the biological imbalances driving how you feel.

Instead of chasing symptoms, we focus on understanding the systems behind them — hormones, thyroid function, metabolism, stress response, and nutrient status.

The goal isn’t just temporary relief. It’s creating a personalized plan that helps your body restore balance so you can feel energized, clear-headed, and in control of your health again.

Schedule your In-Person Wellness Assessment and start uncovering the root cause of your symptoms.

Support and Guidance

You’ll leave with a clear plan and the knowledge to understand what’s happening in your body and how to support lasting health.

Wellness care that finally connects the dots

Many chronic symptoms are signals of deeper imbalances that are often missed in conventional care. At The Wellness Prescriber, we take the time to interpret those signals, uncover the root causes, and guide you toward meaningful, sustainable improvements in your health.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Your visit is designed to give us a clear understanding of what your body has been experiencing.

We’ll review your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle factors, medications, and previous lab work. From there, we determine whether additional functional testing could help uncover hidden imbalances affecting your energy, hormones, metabolism, or overall wellbeing.

The goal is simple: clarity. Once we understand the underlying patterns in your health, we can build a targeted plan that supports real, lasting improvement.

How long is the appointment?

The initial consultation is a brief 10–15 minute visit where we review your health history, symptoms, and determine the appropriate lab testing.

Once your results are ready, we schedule a 45–60 minute follow-up to review your findings in detail, explain what’s happening in your body, and provide your personalized wellness plan. This results discussion can be done in person, by phone, or virtually for your convenience.

What should I bring?

If you have recent lab results, medication lists, or relevant medical records, bringing them can help provide valuable insight into your health history.

Do you offer follow-up support?

Yes. After your wellness check and lab analysis, many clients continue with targeted membership programs that provide ongoing support and guidance as their health improves.

Is functional testing available?

Yes. Lab testing is often an important part of uncovering the root causes behind your symptoms.

For many standard lab tests, there is no additional cost as long as you have an active Alberta Health Care card. If more advanced or specialized functional testing is recommended, we will review those options with you in advance so you can make an informed decision.
