What Our Clients Have To Say…

100 %

Feel they were heard, and their concerns validated

Laura

Client

My GP had me sent for standard bloodwork and dismissed my concerns as stress or work related. I find too often women’s health concerns are brushed away as lifestyle and something we need to simply live with. Upon meeting me, my naturopath heard and validated all my concerns and referred me for extensive bloodwork investigation provided by Marie. Marie not only thoroughly investigated my findings, but also analyzed and charted them. I was
found to have several vitamin deficiencies as well as hormonal and thyroid concerns. Marie also took time from her busy schedule to explain the results and ease my health anxieties. She is thorough,
professional but most importantly kind and truly cares for those she supports. I fully recommend her to anyone looking to have a better quality of life whom can’t find the answers through conventional
medicine practices.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found Marie, to act as coach for the low carb lifestyle change I began in October 2020. Working with Marie has been a pleasant, rewarding experience. Marie is knowledgeable and provides helpful suggestions in a friendly, professional manner. Although my medical history has unique challenges, Marie acknowledges these when giving advice so the advice is practical for my unique limitations. I would highly recommend Marie as a health care practitioner who cares and demonstrates both vast knowledge and a genuine interest in her clients

Perimenopause Wellness Program

$30 monthly

Perimenopause is the transitional period before menopause. During perimenopause, levels of estrogen start to decrease. You may begin having menopause-like symptoms, such as hot flashes or irregular periods.

Perimenopause can last for years.

Risk factors for certain conditions may increase significantly in the menopausal phase. However, because perimenopause is a transitional time leading up to menopause, it’s an ideal time to focus on supporting health and preparing the body for further hormonal changes.

Menopause Wellness Program

$30 monthly

Menopause is a point in time when a person has gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period. Menopause is a natural part of aging and marks the end of your reproductive years.

On average, menopause happens at age 52.

The transition is sometimes equated to a “second puberty” because drastic hormonal shifts lead to changes in your physical, mental, and emotional states. Think of menopause as a permanent hormonal deficiency state

Thyroid Function Wellness Program

$30 monthly

Like a house’s thermostat that controls the temperature, the thyroid helps regulate the body’s metabolismenergy, and hormone balance, contributing to overall well-being. The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped organ located in the neck. It plays a role in metabolic processes and produces hormones necessary for maintaining general health.

The goal of the Thyroid Wellness Program is to correct any thyroid dysfunction that is causing unwanted symptoms.

Optimal Wellness Program

$30 monthly

Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes. The World Health Organization defines Optimal Wellness as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

The Optimal Wellness Program’s goal is disease prevention

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Wellness Checks work?

On your scheduled appointment, we will have the in-person meeting to discuss your concerns and what laboratory tests needs to be done and have your questions answered. This meeting will last about 10-15 minutes depending on the amount of questions and/or concerns you have. A laboratory requisition, including important information regarding testing, may need to be provided to you during this meeting.

You then need to have the blood tests done as directed, if needed.

Once all the blood test results are received, I will then tabulate, assess, and make a Functional Health Report. A client copy of your report will sent to you via the Practice Better portal.

We will then schedule a 45-60 minute virtual or in-person meeting to discuss your test results and corelate them to your symptoms and concerns. Together we will create a corrective protocol for the dysfunctions identified.

How long does it take to receive the Functional Health Report?

It takes about 24-48 hours to create your Functional Health Report once all test results are reported. It takes between 5-15 days for all the results to be reported.

Is the blood testing cost included in the fee?

Blood testing cost is not included in the fee. However, blood testing is usually covered by your provincial or private health insurance plans.

What is your cancellation policy?

IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS
We require 48 hours notice to cancel appointments. Cancelling within 48 hours of your appointment forfeits your paid fee. Appointment re-scheduling is allowed up to 24 hours prior.
VIRTUAL AND PHONE CALL APPOINTMENTS
We require 24 hours notice to cancel appointments. Cancelling within 24 hours of your appointment forfeits your paid fee. Appointment re-scheduling is allowed up to 12 hours prior.

Why is the initial appointment in-person?

I am required by my professional body to create a professional-relationship with each client, by meeting with the client in person at least once a year to be able to provide this specialized service. Unfortunately there are no exceptions to this rule.

Do you provide copies of the Functional Health Report to other healthcare providers?

Absolutely. All you have to do is request a copy be sent to your preferred healthcare provider.
